The Voice of the People Party (VPP) today released its final list of candidates for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) elections.
The list includes seven candidates: Kynjohlang Rangtong for Mawhati and Deity Mawjaw for Laitumkhrah-Malki under the KHADC constituencies. Five for the JHADC are Dr Samely Shylla (Amwi-Khliehtyrshi), Thiyo Lapasam (Saphai-Sahsniang), Soki Lapasam (Muthlong-Sohkymphor), Tyngshain Phawa (Khliehriat-Rymbai) and Prince Sukhlain (Saipung-Nongkhlieh).
Earlier, the VPP announced its list of 27 candidates for the district council elections.
