Active Covid cases in the State have gone up to 991 with the detection of 162 cases today.
East Khasi Hills reported 121 cases, 23 in West Garo Hills, Ri Bhoi six, three each in East Jaiñtia Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills and South West Garo Hills, two in West Khasi Hills and one in East Garo Hills.
The state also recorded 69 recoveries.
In all, Meghalaya has had 86,147 Covid-19 cases, of which 83,666 have recovered and 1,490 have died from the virus.
