The Achik Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) in Baghmara has sought repair and widening of roads under the municipal board area that turned into potholes and inconvenienced the public.
The group in a letter to the South Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner said the roads that require repair are the Baghmara block office approach road and A.simchiring to Do.pakrang locality road, Capt. Williamson Memorial Government College road and the PHE junction to Bolsalgre road.
The ACHIK said that the roads have not been repaired for a very long time and residents, including office employees, are facing a tough time throughout the year and especially in the monsoon season.
Seeking immediate repair of the roads, the group said the DC could work out sanctions from any government scheme for the interest of the public.
