Shillong, Aug 3: The Rabindranath Tagore Club of Laban started its 15th Inter Shillong Cultural Event 2025 today.
Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School principal Jona Goswami was the chief guest at the inaugural function.
After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, an address was presented by Tagore Club president Pankaj Deb, with a dance to follow by Shreyoshi Das.
The Rabindra Sangeet and folk song competitions were held today from 11:30am. The judges were Sanchita Chakraborty, Ruma Dhar, Sutapa Dutta, Paromita Paul, Dhananjoy Goswami and Dhiman Acharjee.
On August 17 art, essay, fun games and dance on Tagore songs competitions will be held at Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School.
