Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ICAR, West Garo Hills organised planting material distribution programme under TDC-NICRA Project at Marapara village yesterday.
A total of 49 farmers from five selected villages participated in the programme where 1000 saplings of Assam Lemon, 750 saplings of Papaya and 400 banana saplings were given for integration as one component in Integrated Farming System Models (IFSM).
SMS (Agril. Extension) Dr. Tarun kumar Das and N. Arunkumar Singh, SMS (SWCE) interacted with all the farmers on integration of various fruit crops on IFSM established in the adopted villages.
