East Garo Hills district police have directed individuals and Youtubers to take down photographs and videos of the Williamnagar murder victim uploaded on social media platforms, including Whatsapp status.
Police said such thoughtless stunts would seriously affect the family members of the victim and the society, which indicates that there is no respect at all for the poor victim and her family.
Failing to comply will be viewed seriously and would attract serious legal implications, police added.
