Rural development professionals from various states of India will be on an exposure visit to Meghalaya from October 21 to 25.
The visit is being organised by the Centre for Social Audit at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR).
During the five-day visit, participants will engage in field visits and interactive sessions at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Nongsder to learn about successful social audit initiatives implemented in Meghalaya and strategies that have contributed to the State’s development.
The Meghalaya Society for Social Audit and Transparency will facilitate the programme.
This is the third such exposure visit organised by NIRDPR in the 2024-25 financial year to promote cross learning and sharing of best practices among the participants from various states and union territories of the country.
