The Dorbar Shnong Malki will elect a new rangbah shnong on August 10 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Malki football ground.
All residents of the locality who are above 18 years of age are eligible to vote to elect the new Rangbah Shnong. Counting of votes will begin from 3 pm.
The election will be held through ballot paper prepared by the Election Committee.
During the voting period the locality will be temporarily closed so as to enable the residents of Malki to vote.
The election committee has urged all the residents to come out in large numbers and take part in the exercise.
