The fifth semester students of Media Technologies at St Anthony’s College will hold an art exhibition on October 19 entitled Synrai (Autumn).
Synrai aims to explore the vibrant and transformative nature of autumn through a diverse range of artistic expressions. The exhibition will feature works of the students who have drawn inspiration from the season’s colour palette, moods and symbolism, a press release said today.
This event will try to capture the beauty and essence of the fall season through various forms of art installations, photographs, audio-video materials and paintings. Apart from the installations, there will be an artist at the event who will be interacting and conducting a small workshop for those interested.
The exhibition is conceived as an exploration of the harmonious relationship between art and the natural world. It seeks to showcase art that not only draws inspiration from nature but is also created using organic and sustainable materials, embodying the principles of environmental consciousness.
The art exhibition will be held at the college’s conference hall on October 19 from 10am to 7pm.
