      The highly decomposed body of a man was found near Mawkyrwat market today morning.

      The man was identified as Hopewelson Turnia (38) of Ngunraw, South West Khasi Hills, who was last seen alive on September 20. He was found down a steep cliff at Riat Thawlong.

      An inquest was conducted and the body was then sent to Mawkyrwat Civil Hospital for an autopsy. Police are investigating further.
