The Rabindranath Tagore Club (RTC) today held its annual general body meeting at the club premises in Laban here.
The general body unanimously elected a new set of office bearers for the 2023-2024 period, to be led by president Pankaj Deb and general secretary Rajdeep Das. The others are Sagar Nandi and Joy Bhattacharjee (both vice-presidents), Arijit Paul and Abhijit Das (both assistant secretaries), Sambhu Deb and Sujoy Das (cultural secretaries), Arnab Paul (treasurer), plus several executive members.
RTC also announced that it will celebrate Rabindra Jayanti on May 9 at the club premises and will organise the 13th Inter Shillong Cultural Event 2023 from June 11.
