There were 13 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Meghalaya in the last week, along with 26 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for four new cases, Ri-Bhoi one, West Garo Hills seven and West Jaiñtia Hills one. There were 358 Covid tests carried out in the same period, giving a positivity rate of 3.63 percent, which was higher than last week’s rate of 2.62 percent.
East Khasi Hills accounted for four recoveries, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills 21.
There are 14 active cases in the state – East Khasi Hills five, Ri-Bhoi one, West Garo Hills seven and West Jaiñtia Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,764 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,126 have recovered and 1,624 have died.
