The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have accredited Sngap Syiem College, Mawkyrwat with ‘Grade B’ in its second cycle.
The college was established in 1985. Principal, Dr. K.K. Nongsiej said the college acknowledges and appreciates the contribution made by stakeholders, NEHU representatives, officials of RUSA cell, students and staff for their tireless efforts shown towards this great achievement.
Nongsiej said the Peer Team of the NAAC visited the college on September 20 and 21 to assess and infrastructural facilities being provided to students and other beneficiaries, following which the certificate of accreditation was awarded.
He said earlier the college was placed at ‘Grade C’ in its first cycle.
