There were seven new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with six recoveries and no fatalities.
East Garo Hills accounted for one new case, East Khasi Hills four, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills three.
East Khasi Hills accounted for two recoveries, Ri-Bhoi one, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills two.
There are now 48 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills four, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, East Khasi Hills 14, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi 10, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills three, South West Khasi Hills one, West Garo Hills 15, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,643 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,973 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are nine patients being treated in hospital with the disease – six in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
