All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs and Meghalaya MLAs plan a protest at the Parliament tomorrow to raise issues concerning the State.
According to the party, the MDA government has turned a deaf ear to the woes of the people and believed that it is the “only credible alternative voice” in the state which actively takes a stand against the “misgovernance.”
“As the MDA government continues with their aloofness and misgovernance, Meghalaya TMC would leave no stones unturned to fight alongside the people of the state. TMC does not make hollow promises. Walking the talk, we will raise pertinent issues from the state in the Parliament ahead of the monsoon session,” a statement here today said.
The issues that the party aims to raise at the protest are the inter-state border agreement, failure of the government to pay SSA teachers, daily wage earners and others.
