Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong in Collaboration with Pasteur Institute Shillong today celebrated the 121st Birth Anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee with a blood donation camp and cyber awareness programme at the Youth Hostel.
Riwar College Principal, Dr S. Khongthogrem who attended the programme as the chief guest highlighted the life of Dr Mukherjee, an Indian politician, barrister and academician.
Pathologist, Dr. B.G. Myrthong encouraged youth to come forward to voluntarily donate blood to save lives, which is safe.
