A training programme was conducted today for officers of the Eastern Range by the CID at Police Reserve, Shillong, on ‘Crimes against Women: with special focus on Domestic Violence Procedures.’ Deputy Inspector General Eastern Range Davis NR Marak and East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police S Nongtnger were present. The resource persons were Advocate Daisy Thangkhiew, a member of the Child Welfare Committee and Iaimanda Ryngksai, the project lead at North East Network.
