OM Roy Higher Secondary School, Mawlai Kyntonmassar lifted the VIII Inter School Knock-Out Football Tournament trophy by defeating Christ Church Morning School, Mawlai Sylaikariah by 3-1.
The tournament was organized by the FKJGP Mawlai Circle at Madanheh mini stadium, Mawlai Phudmuri yesterday.
This was the seventh time that OM Roy won the trophy.
Risjoy Syiemlieh scored the first goal for OM Roy at 23 minutes, the second goal by Bickeystar Warshong at 31 minutes and Marshansing Lyndem at 43 minutes.
Rochester Lawriniang the lone scorer for Christ Church at 58 minutes.
The top scorer title went to Bankerlang Kshiar of OM Roy HSS, for scoring 4 goals at the tournament. Comfort Kharbani from the same school bagged the Best Goalkeeper and Risjoy Syiemlieh for Best Player titles.
The Promising Player award went to Daman Babiang Synrem (Mawkhar Christian HSS) and the Best Discipline Team won by Mawlai Presbyterian Higher Secondary School.
