The dorbar shnong Wapungskur has urged the GR Infra Projects Ltd, who is undertaking works of the national highway 6 to take measures and complete the road that passes through the village.
The dorbar has complained of the deplorable condition of the highway and met officials of the company and the contractor with an appeal for completion of the side drains, footpath, guard wall, traffic lights and signals and rumble strips.
Waheh shnong, Deolangki Dkhar said that the stretch of the road is filled with potholes and with the monsoons, rain waters enter the houses situated along the national highway. He said though compensation payment was made to landowners where drains will be constructed, the work has not commenced.
