An 18-year-old man died and another was injured in a collision between a pickup truck and a motorbike on Tuesday evening in Katalbari, South West Garo Hills.
The deceased was identified as Romio Koch (18), who was steeringthe bike, while the pillion rider, Polison Koch (24) was left injured in the incident. The driver of the pickup fled the scene of the accident.
According to police, the incident happened at around 5:40pm when the Assam-registered bike (AS 17D 4148) collided with the pickup (ML 08F 3215).
