Containment measures have been extended in West Garo Hills till November 22 with the same restricted and permitted activities.
Additional district magistrate, CN Sangma in an order said all shops in the district will now open from Monday to Saturday till 9 pm and the private transports are allowed to ply with 100 per cent capacity. The order also stated that the state and central government offices will also function with 100 per cent staff from 10 am to 5 pm.
The corona curfew in the district will continue to remain in force from 11 pm to 5 am every-night.
