One of its kind Sound Centre for Hearing Care was inaugurated at Keating road here today that is fully equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities and professional support to a plethora of varied patients, dealing with pediatric, adults and geriatric patients.
The centre was inaugurated by Avinash Pawar, Managing Director, WS Audiology and Former Cricketer and Sound Ambassador Padma Shri Syed Kirmani.
Pawar said; “Ready2hear Sound Centre is fully equipped with a sound station and accessories lounge, so users can experience the connectivity and clarity of hearing sounds without any distortion. Sound station gives an opportunity to the patient to witness the sound from hearing aid before actually buying one, as well as the care givers who can also have a hands-on experience & feel the difference of sound from Moment hearing aids vis a vis other hearing aids.”
The centre will be managed and operated by Audiologist, Jermica Pyrbot.
Pyrbot has a rich experience in managing and providing tailored solutions for hearing health and has been giving her services in the government sector since 2012.
“Philosophy behind this sound centre is to develop a world-class hearing care delivery system and improve the standard of dispensing and services for the hearing impaired in Shillong,” Pyrbot said.
Informing that Ready2hear was established in 2007 and is one of the leading players in hearing care industry in Shillong.
The new centre would offer customized solutions to meet individual hearing problems, right from diagnosis for children with communication and hearing disabilities to providing hearing aids and speech therapy suited to individual needs and requirements. It also has special services for Tinnitus (constant discomfort noise in the ear), Hearing Screening (OAE & BERA), Widex Digital Hearing Aids, Batteries, and Hearing Aid Accessories for the hearing-impaired population.
