The Garoland State Movement Committee, Pedaldoba regional unit has demanded immediate repair of the Pedaldoba-Raksamgre-Photamati PWD road under Raksamgre Civil Sub- Division.
In a letter to PWD Minister, Prestone Tynsong the committee pointed out the importance of the road which connects it to Tikrikilla C&RD block and Tura, the district headquarter, and how its dilapidated condition has inconvenienced the people of the area.
Regional chairman of the committee, Rimjen Ch, Sangma said that the road was left devastated by rain in recent years and was left unrepaired.
He said people are facing hardships and many students of the area including office-goers reach their destination late because of bumps and potholes including patients who need urgent medical attention.
