Labour Minister, Sanbor Shullai today said that his department will soon launch a placement cell to accommodate local youths in private establishment.
A press statement from the office of the minister said that this announcement was made as a mark to celebrate the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also contribution towards the ‘Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan’ to mark Modi’s 20 years in public life.
While no other details were shared about the placement cell, when contacted the office of the minister said, the details will be shared once it is launched.
Meanwhile, the statement also said that Shullai will also distribute 71 laptops to all the students who excelled in their respective examination including gifts to all the students of 19th South Shillong constituency.
