Sherwood School in Tura has suspended all classes after a class 10 student tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
The suspension of school comes in the wake of the state government allowing the reopening of schools for class 9 and 10 students just two days ago.
The suspension of classes, as per the principal of the school, Tyrone D Brass, comes after medical officials advised that classes be suspended.
Meanwhile the principal also added that all students of Class 10 would be provided free of cost tests on Monday. He also advised parents to get their children and themselves tested before Monday if they showed any Covid symptoms.
