The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply) of Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division has informed that government Oil PSUs are now releasing free LPG connection to eligible woman beneficiaries belonging to the economically weaker section in the current financial year as per the advice and guidance of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
An adult woman belonging to a poor household without LPG connection are eligible under Ujjwala 2.0 for availing free LPG connection.
To avail this facility, one must belong to SC/ST, must be eligible as per SECC list and must be beneficiary of PMAY and AAY.
Further, the Sub-Divisional Officer also has directed the Sub-Inspectors of Supply to create awareness and give wide publicity with the help of fair price shop dealers, gaon buras or village headmen for eligible beneficiaries under Ujjwala 2.0.
