The Garo Students’ Union (GSU), Garobadha regional unit has written to the Executive Engineer – PHE, seeking a halt to the pipelining of the Greater Garobadha Water Supply Scheme (GGWSS) until the anomalies in the project are transparently verified and amicably resolved.
The NGO stated that problems have crept into the work of the scheme and needed proper verification before it was resolved amicably with different parties to avoid community level disputes in the future.
