Despite being a cluster for Covid-19 cases, the Phulbari market has received permission from the West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner to reopen subject to conditions.
Grocery shops, meat shops, fruit and vegetable shops and pharmacies will be allowed to serve customers from 8am to 5pm during the containment period until May 10. The Block Development Officer and Executive Magistrate of Demdema Community & Rural Development Block will regulate the opening of shops.
