Shillong, Jun 19: The office of the Chief Engineer, PHE has informed that due to installation of transformers there will be no water supply for five hours on June 23, 2026.
The shutdown will be effective from 10 am to 2 pm due to installation of CT/PT combine sets of the feeder 33/11KV at Mawphlang substation by MePDCL.
During this period there will be no water supply to Shillong city and its adjoining areas, the office said and assured that every attempt will be made to restore water supply to the public at the earliest.
