Shillong, Jun 16: The BDO Connect programme, a grassroots outreach initiative under the CM Connect governance framework, was conducted at Betasing block today.
The programme was organised by the Block Development Officer (BDO), CRN Sangma, with the participation of representatives from various line departments.
Residents from different villages attended the programme in significant numbers and raised issues relating to public services, welfare schemes, infrastructure development and other community matters. Officials received and registered complaints and requests submitted by the villagers. Several issues were addressed and clarified on the spot, while matters requiring further examination were documented for necessary follow-up.
Villagers were encouraged to remain in contact with the Block office regarding the status of their applications and grievances.
