Shillong, Jan 13: A three-day training programme on ‘Financial Management Development of Series: Financial Management’, for government officials of West Jaintia Hills District began in Jowai today.
The training programme is being organised by the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI), Shillong and sponsored by the Department of Personnel and Training.
During the three days training participants will gain in depth understanding of various financial rules and systems including FRs&SRs, DFP rules, NPS, Treasury rules, Budget matter, GPF rules, Meghalaya Financial Rules and TA rules, equipping them with practical skills for better financial planning, timely processing of bills and strict adherence to government regulations.
