Shillong, Nov 24: An abandoned bag near the gate of the SBI Main Branch in the city caused panic among the citizens on Monday afternoon.
As soon as personnel of Sadar Police Station got information about the abandoned bag the area was cordoned off and movement of vehicles were stopped for a while.
The bomb squad personnel who rushed to the spot and on inspection found out that the bag contained only clothes.
