Shillong, Sep 16: The National Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia (NABM), in collaboration with the Regional Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia (RABM), Shillong, organised a two-day training programme ‘Empowering Presenters: On-Air Excellence in Akashvani’ on September 14-15.
Thirty newly inducted casual assignees from Akashvani Shillong, North Eastern Service and Community Radio Station, Nongstoiñ, participated.
Inaugurated by ADG (Training) Rehan Ahmad Warsi in presence of Course Director Dr D.K. Mazumder, the programme covered diction, pronunciation, microphone techniques, voice culture, audience engagement and live studio presentation, along with practical on-air simulation sessions.
Resource persons included senior announcers, academicians and experts from NEHU, MIT University and Akashvani Shillong.
