Shillong, Aug 8: To improve rural healthcare accessibility, the Dorbar Shnong Khliehumstem inaugurated the Rapha Healthcare Service Khliehumstem ambulance service on Thursday.
The ambulance was officially launched by Mawhati MLA Charles Marngar, under the Chief Minister’s Special Development Fund (CMSDF) Scheme.
The Rapha Healthcare Service Khliehumstem ambulance service aims to bridge the gap in rural healthcare accessibility, providing timely medical assistance to those in need.
Addressing the gathering, Marngar expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, praising him as the “people’s Chief Minister.” He said that the ambulance service will benefit not only Khliehumstem residents but also neighbouring communities.
