Sixty-two persons donated blood at a blood donation camp held at the Star Cement club at Lumshnong on Saturday.
While 60 are the employees of Star Cement, two are from the Kyrmen Foundation that organised the programme together with the corporate social responsibility unit of the company and Jowai Civil Hospital’s blood bank.
Speaking as the chief guest, Kyrmen Shylla MLA lauded the 62 people who came forward to donate blood that can save lives of those in urgent need.
