The Seiñ Kur Dkhar Wapung circle felicitated 27 students who excelled in various examinations.
A programme was held at the Wapungshnong village in East Jaiñtia Hills on December 17. The clan in a press release said that persons who contributed towards the welfare of the community were also felicitated on the occasion.
The felicitation programme was held to recognise their achievement and to encourage and motivate students so they can do much more, the statement said.
The clan also inducted its unit at the village to be known as the Seiñ Kur Dkhar, Wapung Shnong unit.
