A total of 260 young athletes have been recommended for further training after taking part in the State Sports Talent Identification Programme 2022.
Phase 1 saw 200 youngsters nominated and Phase 2 a further 60. The identification programme was conducted by the Meghalaya State Olympic Association and Department of Sports & Youth Affairs last year based on a series of standardised physical tests.
Those athletes who have been selected but who have not yet contacted the MSOA or their District Sports Officer are requested to do so by February 14.
