The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Pahamsyiem unit held a felicitation ceremony for 16 students for excelling in the board exams.
KSU chairman of the Employment Monitoring Cell Ruben Najiar urged the students to set a positive example for others by striving for excellence and contributing to the well-being of society.
He call on the students to pursue their education with dedication and perseverance, underscoring the transformative power of education in building a brighter future for the community.
KSU district president Ferdynald K. Kharkamni encouraged the students to stay dedicated to their studies and commended their hard work.
He also expressed concern for underprivileged students facing financial hardships and emphasized KSU’s ongoing support for these students, noting that for the past six years, the union has covered semester fees for many of them.
An awareness program on drug addiction and career guidance was also held on the occasion.
