West Garo Hills police has launched multiple raids in Phulbari assembly constituency following a clash between TMC and NPP workers at Charbatapara booth on Tuesday night.
Chief Electoral Officer FR Kharkongor said another 15 persons suspected to be involved in the clash were arrested during the raids. The total arrest made by police is now 31, he added.
It may be mentioned that district authorities had named 131 persons of being involved in the incident that left nine people injured.
