Of the total voters of 22,26,567 in the State, female voters outnumber their male counterparts.
There are 11,27,047 female voters as against 10,99,517 male electors. There are three electors from the third gender.
According to Chief Electoral Officer B D R Tiwari, there are 11,720 voters with disabilities or PwD, 10,180 who are 85+ voters, five overseas voters, 341 voters whose ages are 100 or above, 3,884 service voters, 84,412 voters who are between the ages of 18 and 19 years and 7,17,416 between the ages of 20 and 29 years.
The 2024 Lok Sabha polls had an increase of 51,331 voters from the 2023 Assembly elections which had 21,75,236 voters.
There is also an increase of 3,15,195 voters from the last Lok Sabha elections held in 2019, which had 19,11,372 electors. The total number of first time voters is 31,247.
Home voting optional facility was offered to 21,900 eligible electors of whom 10,180 are senior citizens and 11,720 are Persons with Disability (PwDs).
Of these, 4619 electors (2387 senior citizens and 2232 PwDs) have voted from home.
