A woman has lodged a complaint with the president of Meghalaya Judo Association after her young son was “brutally beaten” by the trainer at the Judo training centre at SAI centre in Polo here.
Jennifer Kharumnuid, a resident of Pynthorbah, in her complaint stated that her son Aeden Khaumnuid was brutally beaten up by the Judo trainer identified as Jubi during the training session.
“The reason for beating my son was not clear and could not be ascertained as to why he had to be brutally beaten,” Kharumnuid said in the complaint while also attaching the photographs showing the bruises on her son’s body.
Urging the Meghalaya Judo Association to take necessary action against the trainer, Kharumnuid also said, “His behaviour and misconduct towards my son is creating great disturbance and uneasy stress to me.”
A copy of the complaint was also sent to the Officer in-Charge, Polo Pasteur Beat House.
