State Congress working president, Ampareen Lyngdoh said that her party will not make tall claims about winning the upcoming Assembly by-elections but would work hard and remain focused.
“We will not brag or predict our performances because we are not political pundits but we will work hard and remain focused,” she told Highland Post here today.
“The main issues before these by-election are corruption and the false promises made by the ruling MDA to the people of the State in 2018. We will ensure that people are aware of their responsibility as electorates by highlighting all those agendas,” Lyngdoh said.
Reacting to charges by NPP that Congress is disintegrating throughout the country, Lyngdoh said, “Let them make their wild comments. Our poll campaign is almost starting and we will make everything clear during the campaign trail.”
