A webinar on entrepreneurship and job opportunities in food industry was conducted by Col Pramod S Dahitule, Director, Eastern and North Eastern Region, FSSAI in Shillong today which was attended by 350 NCC cadets.
Maj Gen Ananta Bhuyan, SM, Additional Director General, NCC NER inaugurated the webinar and motivated the cadets to look for job opportunities in the food industry.
Col Pramod and his team made the cadets aware of the various job avenues in the food industry right from tech officers, food safety officers, IT manager, lab technicians and also briefed on internship programme in various industries.
He also dwelt upon the role of NCC in Eat Right Challenge, Special camp for food testing and Eat right school and campus programme.
