The State Election Committee of the Voice of the People Party (VPP) will soon initiate the process of screening the applications of all the prospective candidates who had submitted their applications to the party for the forthcoming MDC elections in the State.
“The candidature of only those who submitted their applications will be considered for nomination as the party candidates,” the party said.
It may be mentioned that the VPP has decided to contest the elections to the two District Councils in Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills.
