The Vikas Trust, Bhubaneswar has signed a memorandum of understanding with knowledge partners of the Eastern region at the College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam today.
The partners included the CAU, Imphal, ICAR-RC, NEH, Umiam, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, ICAR-CIFA, ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata and OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
This was as part of the 12th research council and 8th extension education meeting, which will conclude on December 19.
Chairperson of the trust, Mridula T Pradhan emphasized on the historical importance of the agreement with the national importance institutes from Eastern India. She said with the signing of the MoU the partners will work toward the uplifment of rural areas and make the people independent and self reliant.
