The Meghalaya team that won the gold medal in men’s football at the Khelo India Youth Games 2024 will ride in an open top truck in a celebratory parade through Shillong on Thursday.
Meghalaya beat Punjab in the final 2-0 in Chennai on Wednesday.
According to an official notification, the parade will take the team from Banalari World Cars from 12pm to Mawlai petrol pump, Mawlai Iew Rynghep, Seng Khasi College, Jaiaw Mawbynna, Jaiaw Pdeng, Mawkhar Main Road, Motphran, Police Bazaar, DC’s office, Raj Bhavan, IGP, Additional Secretariat, Main Secretariat, DC’s office again, Ward’s Lake, Polo Market and conclude at Third Ground in Polo by 2pm.
