A Maruti van was buried under debris in a landslide that struck Patharkhmah, Ri-Bhoi, at around 3pm today.
The Assam-registered vehicle (AS 01 BP 2426) was crushed but no casualty was reported in the incident as the van had been parked and was empty.
The landslide was reportedly caused by heavy rain than lashed the area for hours.
