Graduating students of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) who have secured jobs as they transition to the working world were felicitated by the varsity’s training and placement division today.
More than 100 students out of the 500-plus who have been recruited through campus and off-campus placement drives were felicitated. Present on the occasion were USTM Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque and other dignitaries. The ceremony included the distribution of certificates to the placed students, recognising their hard work and dedication that led to securing job offers.
The highest salary package secured by a graduating student of USTM is Rs 13.58 lakh per annum.
