United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate James Sylliang has criticised Mawhati MLA and MDC Charles Marngar stating he has failed to usher in development and betrayed the electorates by shifting allegiance from the Congress to the NPP.
The former MDC of Mawhati, who will contest the seat in the KHADC election, boasted successful implementation of schemes during his tenure and claimed that the constituency under Marngar has seen little to no progress.
Sylliang said Mangar’s political shift after securing wins as an MLA and MDC is nothing but betrayal to the people of the constituency even as he stated that the NPP was rejected in past elections.
