A Nagaland-registered truck (NL 01AF 5925) was completely wrecked after plunging into a 500 foot gorge at Sonapyrdi today morning, with the driver making a miraculous escape.
In fact, the man was completely uninjured despite the vehicle he was in being totally destroyed.
Umkiang Police, who received information about the accident around 9:30am, conducted a search operation and later came to know from the driver that he was alone in the truck and that he had escaped unharmed.
